As an owner of a few properties , I have been trying to build my portfolio for a few years with an aim to establish wealth to achieve FIRE to some point in my life. As with everyone we responded to the ad and signed up with little savings other than super which will happily serve. We didn’t need a huge spiel or sales pitch even though we knew we had to sit through it to seem we were being thorough. We did however need to hear key things to understand yes we could enter through SMSF with legal assistance which is something that is easy enough for another to say you can do that yourself… well no if it was that easy we would have already. So the SMSF part is indeed worth it for us. The investment side of real estate is the icing, fortunately treated to own a very nice piece of property investment… a nest egg that is better late than never. We lead a very busy work life, hobbies, family and home life that our research time is limited and our constant change of meetings were received with ease as our schedule changes and on most occasions, daily. Overload of initial contact was expected with timelines in place, we are also expecting this to ease off and sit back until settlement is due. There are a lot of fees that drive the settlement fee up given the minimal deposit, which surprised us… quick heads up… but for a one stop package to get us up and going, we have to start somewhere. So, Who is better to go with… for the amateur investor as ourselves… we have no idea and I’m sure there are a few however Tim from Freedom and Jay from New Haven have made the journey effortless. Great working with you Guys and best of luck with your investments too!
