From the start (2022) I was very wary as everything seemed too good to be true, I was fortunate a work colleague had properties with Freedom and he ran me through the process. I was then lucky to get one of the founders (Lianna) as my investor and we had our property reviews, again it all seemed too good to be true (but again I checked with my colleague and he confirmed yes it’s legit) we ran over our goals and what cash we had available and borrowing power. I don’t think we had much capacity as we have been trying to get our own house in the Northern Breaches of NSW and not enough bowling capacity. Freedom set out the plan and we put deposits on 3 places, one in WA, one in QLD and one in VIC. To help our plan they put is in touch with an advisor who specialises in SMSF and again all seemed to good to be true but then we flipped our QLD property into our Super as it was going to do much better than my Super. Fast forward to Nov 24 and it WA house is complete and our first tenants are moving in, QLD has also settled and about to be tenanted. WA has gone up by $160k and QLD around $140k, we have now just put another house in our SMSF due to this increase and we are about to look at another QLD personal property for investing. VIC is due to complete early 2026 but this was all part of the plan with cash flow but WA has allowed us to progress quicker to our target of 10 properties. The team have been great especially Kerri for all her support throughout the hard yards of the final builds and her communication with the builders etc. then Kristina with her patience and hard work on the financial side. Finally Lianna with her knowledge and patience with a new investor it is all very personal and we are thankful for Freedom on helping us become successful investors.
